Before You Start

SharePoint installation

Once you've checked all of the boxes, you can get started on the installation.

AD LDS service

The Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) role should be installed on your SharePoint Application server.

Information you need at hand

You'll need the following information to complete the different installation setup steps:

  • SQL Server IP or DNS.

  • Credentials of an Active Directory user that will be used as your hoozin administrator. The password must contain at least 8 characters in order to respect the password policy.

  • Credentials of the account that will be used as your SharePoint Web Application pool service account. This account must have an email address saved in your Active Directory.

  • Credentials of a third account that will be used as the second owner of the SharePoint site collection that the setup will create. This account must have an email address saved in your Active Directory.
