The hoozin Social layer is where users view and share content (messages, images, videos, documents, links), leave comments, react to posts, start discussions, etc.
The landing page is a central user hub that displays panels (called widgets) containing dynamic content such as a carousel display of corporate news, the organization's social and community streams, and social media feeds.
From the hoozin landing page, click the My icon in the left menu to open your stream.
The full stream is displayed by default, and contains both general content and content from the communities you belong to. You can choose to show only your posts, your favorites, your hidden posts, or your sticky posts.
In the Tag cloud section in the right panel, click Add tags to my profile to open the My tags screen in your user profile.
Trendy tags shows a cloud of the top tags in the organization, which you can click to see associated content.
You can also click communities in the Top public communities list to show their information, along with their managers and members (click their profile pictures to view their user profiles).
Click the My discussions icon in the left menu to view all of the discussions you're taking part in. These are secured conversations between multiple users/members in your network. Only members of a discussion can access its content.
Click the My profile icon to access your user profile. Here, you can set or edit your name, contact details, company and job information, tags listing your skills, and social media accounts.
The right panel shows the strength of your profile based on its completeness, along with statistics on your posts and communities.
From the left menu, you can upload an avatar and a background image for your profile, edit your skills tags, and change your password.
Click My notifications to open the Manage notifications screen.
Actions: Activate or deactivate notifications for likes and/or comments on your posts.
Communities: Activate or deactivate notifications from communities by dragging and dropping them to or from the Activated notifications and Deactivated notifications.columns.
In the My regional settings page, Inherit hoozin default settings is checked by default. Uncheck it to change your regional settings (e.g. English (United States)
to English (Canada)
) and your time zone.
In the left menu User profile section, you can manage your contacts and communities, view your public and community posts, and your discussions.
This screen shows your User adoption statistics on your posts (comments and replies, images, documents, links, and videos) and reactions (likes and comments). The Top public posts section shows your posts that got the most likes and comments. Both of these can be filtered by time range.
You can manage your contacts here as well as create personalized groups of users to share content with.
Click the My system tasks icon in the left menu to view your tasks list. These actions have been directly assigned to you, to a group you're a member of, or to a role that you have within a community (such as an Approver in the app). You can filter these by community and by date.
Click the My communities icon in the left menu to view and access the communities you belong to. You can filter the view by type (Public, Private, or Hidden), by community name, by community creator, and by category (All, No category for communities without assigned categories, Internal, Customer, or Project). See the section for information about hoozin communities and how to create and configure them.
